Milestone: Alex Schmadeke gets Sequim Sunrise Rotary honor

Alex Schmadeke, shown here with Sequim Sunrise Rotary president Jon Jack and Rotary Public Relations representative Bret Keehn, was named Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s Middle School Student of the Month for December. Schmadeke, the daughter of Brent and Kate Schmadeke, says her favorite subject is language arts. She competes in competitive gymnastics. Schmadeke plans to attend the University of Iowa and be a student-athlete in gymnastics.
