Milestone: Bates earns Sequim Sunrise Rotary honor

Hannah Bates, shown here with Sequim Sunrise Rotary President Jim McEntire, left, and Rotary Public Relations rep Bret Keehn, was recently named Sequim Sunrise Rotary’s November Middle School Student of the Month.

Bates is the daughter of Bill and Betty Bates. Her favorite subjects are math and history. She enjoys playing basketball and softball for school and select teams.

Bates said she plans to attend a four-year college to study kinesiology and be a trainer in the WNBA.
