Kelley and Cameron Bluthenthal of Sequim were awarded scholarships by the Coast Guard Foundation for the 2018-19 school year.

Kelley received the Coast Guard Foundation Hugh Westbrook Scholar Award and will attend Peninsula College in the fall.

Cameron was awarded a Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship and will attend Western Washington University in the fall.

They are sons of Petty Officer 1st Class Vincent Bluthenthal.

The foundation awards scholarships to family members of the U.S. Coast Guard to help them pursue their dreams of higher education.
