The Sequim Dungeness Hospital Guild recently awarded a $2,500 scholarship to Casey Sires of Port Angeles. Sires will be obtaining his paramedic degree from Tacoma Community College. He has worked for Olympic Ambulance in Sequim as an EMT, and plans to return to the Sequim area as a paramedic when he completes his program.
