Deby King, director of laboratory services, was recently honored for her for her 12 years of service to Olympic Medical Center with the organization’s June leadership award.

“Deby has been a pleasure to work with over the years, and has very capably handled many complex changes in her various roles,” OMC Chief Executive Officer Eric Lewis said.

King, who retired July 3, started at Olympic Medical as director of diagnostic imaging. She led the significant and successful implementation of the Epic electronic health record at Olympic Medical Center before transitioning to director of laboratory services.

“We have received very many positive comments about Deby,” Lewis said.

One staff member wrote: “Deby has been a model of what can happen when you bring talent, experience, teamwork and a consistently positive attitude to the work place.”
