Milestone: Meier gets Rotary honor

Richard Meier, pictured with Sequim Sunrise Rotary president Jon Jack, left, and Public Relations representative Bret Keehn, was recently named the Rotary group’s Middle School Student of the Month for January.

Meier is the son of Richard and Terri Meier. His favorite subjects are science, game design and robotics. He participates in wrestling and running.

Meier said he would like to join the U.S. Air Force Academy, serve as an officer and become a commercial airline pilot or engineer with Boeing.
