Milestone: OMC’s Swift honored for efficiencies

Melissa Swift, a human resources business systems analyst with Olympic Medical Center, was recently honored by OMC CEO Eric Lewis at recent board of commissioners meeting.

“Swift has been responsible for automating a number of processes in human resources, making the department more efficient and better able to serve OMC’s staff and managers,” Jennifer Burkhardt, chief human resources officer and general counsel, said.

Swift began her career at OMC in 2010 in clinical informatics. In 2013, she was instrumental in implementing Lawson software for payroll, human resources data and supply chain management, and most recently Cornerstone software for human resources, OMC representatives said.

While improving information systems, Swift demonstrated such value and diligence that she was promoted from HR Generalist to HR Business Systems Analyst, a new position that she pioneered at OMC, representatives said.
