Milestone: OPAA donates to three local groups

At their December meeting, Olympic Peninsula Art Association (OPAA) presented three local organizations with donations for their art programs.

Clallam Mosaic, whose goal is to serve individuals with special needs and their families and caregivers, will use the donation in the group’s art program.

Dedicated to caring for people with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and other types of memory impairments, Discovery Memory Care will use its donation for recreational art projects.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula’s Carroll C. Kendall Unit in Sequim will use the OPAA donation for various art activities for the children.

OPAA’s goal is to encourage, support and promote the visual arts in the community.
