Kathi Pressley, retiring director of materials management, received the Olympic Medical Center Leadership Award during July’s department management meeting.

The award was in recognition of her contributions to Olympic Medical during her tenure as the leader of materials management.

“Kathi has successfully led her departments as Olympic Medical has continually grown,” chief financial officer Darryl Wolfe said. “She has very capably provided support to many staff and managers over the years and she will be missed.”

Pressley retire on Aug. 2.

In her work on supply chain management, product evaluation and contract management, purchasing and more, Pressley proved to be a staunch steward of Olympic Medical resources, OMC officials said last week.

“Kathi has the distinction of likely saving Olympic Medical Center more money than any other employee,” Wolfe said.
