Paula Quast, Olympic Medical Center’s supervisor of central services, received the organization’s leadership award from OMC CEO Eric Lewis at a recent management meeting.

Quast oversees sterile processing, and central supply orders and distribution for Olympic Memorial Hospital and Olympic Medical Physician clinics.

“Paula is a natural leader, mentor and problem-solver,” Lewis said. “She is a positive, creative and innovative employee, and is able to evaluate issues from multiple perspectives and implement complex initiatives.”

Central services staff sterilize and distribute the medical devices and supplies needed in patient care, especially during surgery.

Quast has worked for Olympic Medical Center since 2004.
