Chelsea Twiss, a 2007 Sequim High School graduate, earned her Doctor of Philosophy-Counseling Psychology degree from New Mexico State University in August 2018.

Twiss, who earned her associate’s degree at Peninsula College in Port Angeles and bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, joined other doctoral candidates at two degree presentations at the NMSU campus in Las Cruces, N.M., on Dec. 7.

She is now working in a post-doctoral position for Colorado State University’s counseling center in Fort Collins, Colo.
