Milestone: Sequim HS senior Rosales earns Sorptimist’s Youth Citizen’s Award

Soroptimist International of Sequim recently awarded the group’s Youth Citizen’s Award to Ashley Rosales — pictured with parents Stephen and Kim Rosales — for her volunteer work with the Sequim Food Bank.

In addition to volunteering for the past nine years with the food bank, Rosales also volunteers for the Boys & Girls Club and Habitat for Humanity-Clallam County.

A senior at Sequim High School, Rosales will be attending the University of Washington in the fall and majoring in pre-law.

Cash awards were given to both Rosales and Sequim Food Bank.
