Milestone: Stamper graduates from basic military training

U.S. Air Force Airman and former Sequim resident Brandon S. Stamper recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

The airman completed an intensive eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Stamper is the son of Scott F. Stamper of Issaquah and Gina M. Stamper of Boise, Idaho.

He is a 2016 graduate of Sequim High School.
