Milestones: OMC employees honored

Five Olympic Medical Center employees from the medical/surgical unit received recognition awards during the Dec. 7 board meeting from board president John Nutter and Chief Executive Officer Eric Lewis.

Beverly Buck, certified nurse assistant; and registered nurses Stacia Kiesser, Julie Millsap, Cynthia Beltrami and Katie Roszatycki, (not pictured) were recognized for their work to improve processes in providing care to patients with psychiatric issues. Within three months, the group discussed various challenges, suggested physical improvements to the treatment area, streamlined workflows and improved communication procedures.

“These employees are dedicated to creating a caring and safe environment for these patients,” said Robin Burse, RN, director, medical/surgical/pediatrics unit.
