Peninsula College is offering a study abroad program in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, with graphic design professor Marina Shipova in March 2018.

The course gives participants opportunities to explore how they observe and interpret the visual world. Through lectures and independent work, students examine material from a wide range of sources focusing on social, political and cultural connections.

The program, open to PC students and the public alike, may be taken as a field trip option. Space is limited to a maximum of 20 students.

Estimated cost of the two-week program is about $4,300; estimated travel dates are March 22-30, 2018. Fee includes lodging (double-occupancy), breakfasts, admissions, travel insurance and local transportation.

Not included are tuition, airfare to and from Russia, passport and visa charges, meals other than breakfasts and personal expenses.
