The Clallam County School Retirees’ Association recently saw two local members earn awards at the Washington State School Retirees’ Association state convention.

Dr. Curt Horne was voted in as 2017-2018 WSSRA state president and Lora Brabant, Clallam County School Retirees’ Association president, was awarded the Patrick T. Hoban Meriterious Award.

Both Horne and Brabant have served the local school retirees unit for numerous years by giving back to the community with scholarships and mini-grants awarded to Clallam County students and Clallam County school district employees.
