Sequim hosts annual Breakfast with Santa

First Teacher and Parenting Matters Foundation hosts Breakfast With Santa, set for 8:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Sequim Middle School cafeteria, 301 W. Hendrickson Road.

Along with breakfast and photos with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, the event features crafts, music, raffle, a free book for each child and more.

The event is a benefit for Parenting Matters/First Teacher.

Cost is $10 for attendees 11 and older, $5 for children of ages 2-10. There are a limited number of tickets, and some are available for those who cannot afford to buy them.

Get tickets at brownpapertickets.com or at the door. See www.facebook.com/FirstTeacherPMF/ or call 360-681-9992.

The event has been in the Sequim community for 26 years. Last year’s Breakfast With Santa drew 410 attendees to raise about $5,000 for First Teacher/Parenting Matters, the organization’s only in-person fundraiser of the year.

First Teacher’s offerings include books, a monthly parenting newsletter, BLOCK Fest events, parent education classes, online resources and a family resource room hosted by the Sequim Boys & Girls Club.
