Greywolf students and their families spent a fun evening together at Greywolf’s annual Math Night on March 25. Teachers put together math activities and games and students were able to earn tickets to win prizes at the end of the night. A big thank you to Sequim Community Helping Kids for once again donating prizes for the event; they were a huge hit! Greywolf’s PTA coordinated with Westside Pizza to serve dinner to families in attendance and we appreciate their support! Several local businesses donated estimation jars and students with the closest estimates won the jar and its contents! Thank you to Castell Insurance, Sweet Spot Frozen Yogurt, BrokersGroup Real Estate, Kathi Larsen of Evergreen Home Loans, Dungeness Kids Company, Over the Fence, Sequim Animal Hospital, First Federal and the employees of the Clallam County PUD for providing estimation jars!

April 3 is Paraprofessional Recognition Day and Sequim High School would like to recognize our paraprofessionals who work so hard to help our students succeed on a daily basis.

Seniors: Jim Heintz will be taking the senior group picture Monday, April 8, at the very beginning of DEN (10:45 a.m.).

The Annual Art Attack! Fine Arts show will be 6- 8 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the Sequim School District boardroom and the high school auditorium. The boardroom will be filled with artwork from the drawing, painting, glass fusing, Advanced Placement art, ceramics, photography and floral design classes. The auditorium will be filled with music by the award-winning Sequim High School Jazz Band and the Select Choir.

The art students all have been working hard this year and have completed many awesome pieces of art that we would like to share with the community. We will have judges awarding prizes for the best pieces in each category and there also will be a People’s Choice Award that will be presented at the end of the evening to the student whose artwork received the most votes from the viewing public. Some pieces will be for sale, so bring some money, or just your eyes to see the wonderful things our kids have been working on this year!
