Stamp, OMC nurse, gets leadership award

Eric Lewis, Olympic Medical Center’s Chief Executive Officer, recently honored recognized Alberta Stamp, OMC manager of clinical informatics, with the organization’s leadership award at a recent management meeting.

“Alberta is compassionate, acts with high integrity and always keeps the patient in mind,” Lewis said.

Added Darryl Wolfe, chief operating officer and chief financial officer, “I’ve been impressed at her growth as a manager and her efforts to improve the functions of OMC’s clinical informatics department.”

Stamp has also become a respected voice in support of our patients and organization during meetings with the many other hospitals who utilize the same Providence Epic electronic health record platform as OMC, medical center representatives said.

Stamp joined Olympic Medical Home Health in 1996 as a case manager and later became team supervisor, clinical educator and medical records manager.

In 2009, she joined the clinical informatics department as an analyst and in 2017 was promoted to manager.
