The City of Sequim’s Music in the Park presents Karaoke Idol from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the James Center for the Performing Arts, 563 Rhodefer Road.

The contest is for amateur singers only, ages 13 and older. Registration is at 5:15 p.m.; 20 contestants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Be prepared to sing three songs from the karaoke library.

The registration form and karaoke library are at www.sequimwa.gov under the “Spotlight.”

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places.
