Community residents will have a rare opportunity to hear Turkish world music legend Omar Faruk Tekbilek perform at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, when Peninsula College’s Music Appreciation class hosts Tekbilek in a free workshop/performance in the college’s Little Theater, starting at 12:30 pm.

Tekbilek’s appearance is presented as part of Caravanserai, produced by Arts Midwest, and co-sponsored by Centrum and the Peninsula College Cultural Arts Committee.
