Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering a grief support group starting Tuesday, Sept. 18, and running for seven consecutive weeks through Oct. 30.

Group meetings are from 2-3:30 p.m. at 810 S. Albert St., Port Angeles.

Sally Featherstone, a retired advanced practice mental health nurse with a specialty in stress management, loss and grief, facilitates the group. She has taught classes, workshops and facilitated groups for 45 years, and has published extensively.

The purpose of this group is “to provide a safe and confidential environment where participants can receive support to begin their journey through grief.”
