Brenske gets first ace
Dustin Brenske of Sequim sank his first hole-in-one on June 5 at the Cedars at Dungeness.
Brenske used a driver to ace the 122-yard hole
No. 4 at The Cedars.
Kyle Brenske and Coral Millet of Sequim witnessed the feat.

 

 

Chace gets ace No. 5
Ken Chace of Sequim sank his fifth lifetime hole-in-one in May.
Chace used a pitching wedge to drive the 134-yard hole No. 8 at The Cedars at Dungeness on May 28.
Allison Lippert and Jake Tjernell, both of
Sequim, witnessed the feat.

 

 

SHS hosts hoops camp
Sequim High School (601 N. Sequim Ave.) hosts a basketball camp for youths entering grades 2-8 from 3:15-5:30 p.m., June 20-22.
Fee is $35 per player or $70 per family.

SARC starts swim squad
The Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center summer swim team welcomes fun-loving swimmers of all abilities, ages 5-14, to participate in a new program. Registration is at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 15, at SARC, 610 N. Fifth Ave. Make sure your child brings a bathing suit for the swim test.
All participants must be able to swim one length of the pool without stopping. Practices are held at SARC from June 27-Aug. 19 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. For more information, visit www.sarcfitness.com/swimteam, or call 683-3344, x12.
Junior soccer club opens camps
The Sequim Junior Soccer Club again is teaming up with UK Elite Soccer to provide players and coaches with fun, educational and cutting-edge development opportunities.
Registration is now up and running for players ages 3-14. All programs include a UK Elite T-shirt and soccer ball. Go to www.sequimjuniorsoccer.com and click on “Camps” for more information.

 

 

Sounders clinic set
