Since 2005, I’ve kept track of every movie I’ve seen in the theater, on TV and on DVD/ VHS/Blu-Ray. We don’t have cable/ dish/ TV box, so we watch things online, and through Netflix, Redbox and the library. Oftentimes I’ll go a month without seeing a movie because we’re watching a TV series like “Alias,” “The Shield,” or “The Wire.” We enjoy going to the movies, but our schedules don’t often allow us to do so. Last year, I participated in a two-weekend event watching all of the Oscar Best Picture nominees. We’ll do it again this year. Some of these movies listed, I’ve seen twice for whatever reason.
So here is a chronological list of the movies I watched in 2011.

One of the last movies I watched in 2011 was "Super," an awkward and at times gross movie with a lot of creative elements. My brother-in-law said he thinks it gets better each time he watches it. I don't know if I'll watch it again, but if you like "out there" films then it's worth watching once. The quote on the blu-ray sums it up.
