2017 Albert Haller Foundation Grant applications available

The Albert Haller Foundation is now accepting grant applications for 2017. Applications will be due by 4 p.m. July 7 at the United Way of Clallam County office, 1601 E. Front St., Bldg. 2, Ste. A, Port Angeles.

Foundation grants are given annually to charitable organizations in Clallam County, with priority to those providing food, housing, clothing, medical care and other programs that may enhance and enrich lives. Schools also may apply for funding that supports the progress and needs of disadvantaged children.

The United Way of Clallam County serves as advisor to the Haller Foundation’s board of directors in making recommendations for grant funding.

New applicants are encouraged to sign up for a morning or afternoon informational session, which will be June 14, by calling 457-3011. This one-hour meeting is designed to answer commonly asked questions about the application process.
