Taylor named top student

Kyle Taylor, a senior at Sequim High School, is the Sequim Sunrise Rotary Vocational Student of the Month for February.

Taylor was selected for his work in the multimedia class by teacher Charles Kleinberg in the business department at the school.

Taylor has lived in Sequim his entire life and has one sister. His parents are Lori and Mark Taylor.

Taylor says he loves music and in his free time he's usually hanging out with friends and listening to music.

He's been involved with several community service activities, including Boy Scouts, food drives, clothing drives and helping Alzheimer's disease patients.

He and his father are restoring an old truck. Taylor says his future career will involve something mechanical and that he enjoys the body restoration work on vehicles.
