Free concert, breakfast

A free concert and breakfast will be served Saturday, March 21, at Calvary Chapel Sequim, 91 S. Boyce Road, Sequim.

Breakfast, also free, will be served at 7:45 a.m.

"God Rocks!" will be presented via satellite at 8:30 a.m.

The concert is based upon the award-winning "God Rocks! BibleToons" animated children's series.

Featuring members of the God Rocks! ministry team, this event also features the world broadcast premiere of "Starlight Rescue," a new, interactive animated adventure.

The God Rocks! team has performed at Billy Graham Evangelistic Association festivals in the United States and Canada, YWAM World Impact Tour events, major Christian festivals and churches across the country.

Local churches celebrate

World Day of Prayer

A World Day of Prayer service will be held at noon Friday, March 6, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

Other sponsoring churches in the Sequim area are Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, Faith Lutheran Church, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Trinity United Methodist Church and Sequim Community Church.

Women, men, and children in more than 170 countries are expected to celebrate World Day of Prayer that day.



Soup suppers scheduled

Lenten soup suppers will be served Wednesdays, March 11-April 1, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.

The event begins at 5 p.m. and the soup supper follows at 5:30 p.m. "Listening for God in Our Daily Spiritual Journey" follows at 6 p.m. Call 683-4862 for more information.
