History Tales scheduled to start series Oct. 4 in P.A.

Clallam County Historical Society's annual History Tales series begins at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at Port Angeles City Hall, 321 E. Fifth St., Port Angeles.

Scheduled speakers and their subjects are:

_ Oct. 4: Dale Faulstich, author and totem carver, Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe

_ Nov. 1: James Aldrich, president, Friends of the Fields

_ December: No program scheduled

_ Jan. 3: Ginger Nichols, "Living at the Destruction Island Lighthouse"

_ Feb. 7: Pat Neal, author and fishing guide

_ March 7: Port Angeles High School graduates of 1961, "Growing Up in P.A. 50 Years Ago"

_ April 11: Jon Preston, Olympic National Park Ranger, "Press Expedition"

_ May 2: Program to be announced

_ June 6: CCHS annual meeting, program to be announced
