Daniel Fink, Sequim, and his dog, Holly, are Washington State Grand Champions for Obedience in their class.  They competed at the Washington State Fair Sept 26, 2009 in Puyallup for 4-H during which Daniel and Holly won top state honors representing Clallam County.  Each county's 'top dogs' competed against one another and so the overall winner was champion among champions.

A Sequim 4-H group called, DOGS, INC, who collectively earned a wide range of awards at the annual competition at the Clallam County Fair in August.  Champions at this forum qualified to compete at the State Fair.   These local kids with their dogs competed in agility and/or obedience and did very well.
