Sequim Wolfpups football

Like their high school brethren, Sequim’s Wolfpup JV Purple team battled cold, wet conditions this weekend. The ‘Pups battled Port Townsend to a scoreless to for a half but eventually fell 13-0 in Saturday afternoon’s championship game.

Sequim finishes the season with a 7-2 mark, losing their first and final games of the season — both to Port Townsend. The season included a 40-0 win against Forks, a 26-0 win against Port Angeles Green and a 14-7 win against Sequim’s JV gold squad in the playoff semifinals.

Team members include: Beau Bernsten, Noah Christianson, Brady Collins, Nick Faunce, Jerimiah Grice,  Chris Hanning, Calvin Hazard, Ryan Hurst, Bradley Kussin, Dylan Lott, Lenny Markham, Orion Peterson, Nathan Ponte, Alec Richardson, Preston Richardson, Jacob Sallee, Abel Schindler, Matthew Schock, Luke Silliman, Jadon Spaulding, James Thayer, Gavin Velarde, Matthew Warner-Hipple and Jake Warren.

Coaches include Ken Warren, Rex Lott, David Dettra and Carl Bernsten.
