Bake sale cooks up dough for food bank

Employees at both Sequim First Federal branches baked goods to sell as a benefit for the Sequim Food Bank. Branch managers Laurie Liske, left, and Christy Rookard, right, presented food bank board member Mary Budke, center, with $309 to help stock the facility with food.

Customers donated enough food at the event to fill one large container.

Rookard said this is one of the best bake sales the Sequim branches have held.
