Wreath making scheduled

Customers can make holiday wreaths Saturday, Dec. 5, at Henery's Garden Center, 1060 Sequim-Dungeness Way, Sequim.

Customers are encouraged to bring their own greens and supplies. Supplies also will be available for purchase. Instructions and help getting started are free. Anticipate at least an hour to make a wreath.

Chamber hosts

luncheon

The Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce hosts a luncheon at noon Tuesday, Dec. 8, at Pioneer Memorial Park, 387 W. Washington St., Sequim.

The Sequim High School choir will provide music. Bill Bentley, superintendent of Sequim School District, is the speaker.

Cameron's Cafe caters lunch. The price is $15.

tickets available

Tickets are available at McComb Gardens and The Greenhouse Nursery for the Northwest Flower & Garden Show at the Seattle Convention Center in February.

Raffle benefits

A kayak, a case of wine and fused glass by Strait Fusion are among the items in a Dec. 31 raffle.

Tickets cost $5. Proceeds go to the Olympic Peninsula Humane Society.

Tickets can be purchased at Adventures Through Kayaking and Harbinger Winery, both located three miles west of Port Angeles on U.S. Highway 101 West.

Store open holiday hours, collects food

Let's Shop West Coast Connections is open 10:30 a.m.-

6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday through Dec. 24.

The store, at 123 N.

Sequim Ave., Sequim, will collect nonperishable food items for the Sequim Food Bank and give a 15-percent discount on any regular priced item.



Toy drive continues

Sleep Country USA's annual Secret Santa Toy Drive for Foster Kids continues through Dec. 13.

New, unwrapped gifts such as toys, games, sporting equipment and musical instruments can be donated at any Sleep Country USA store.
