VFWs hold benefits for Lakewood families

Veterans of Foreign War District 14 posts in Sequim and Port Angeles are fundraising for the families of the four Lakewood Police officers who were shot and killed on Nov. 29.

All monies earned from the local events will go to the families. Sixteen other Washington districts are raising funds for the families as well.

Donations are being accepted through Sequim VFW Post 4760 through noon Dec. 20.
