First Teacher sets events for January

The First Teacher classroom is home to a number of events in January for young children (pre-kindergarten age) and parents.

Today, Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 10:30 a.m., First Teacher

hosts craft time for children. Drop-in time is 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 7, the Parent Connection group meets at First Teacher. Parent Nicole Brewer leads the group. Talk with other parents about the importance of building friendships at First Teacher while the children play. (For more information, call Brewer at 461-9992.)

At 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 8, have your toddler's bangs cut by Kathy Benedict. Call for an appointment at 582-3428.

On Monday, Jan. 11, Linda Benson, a speech pathologist, is First Teacher's guest reader. Bring your favorite book to talk about dos and don'ts when reading to your child.

First Teacher is in Room 4W at Sequim Community School, 220 W. Alder St.
