Family Fun Fest A Success at Haller

Helen Haller continued its string of successful Family Fun Festivals on Saturday, Feb. 6.
More than 500 people attended, with parents buying tickets for children to participate in the 14 different activities that included dart balloons, Sequim-opoly, face painting, mini-golf and skee-ball.

Money raised goes to Helen Haller’s Parent Teacher Organization for classroom books and supplies that many teachers pay for out of pocket due to limited classroom budgets.

In 2009, the festival changed from evening to daytime Saturday.

More than 100 volunteers helped organize and run the fun festival.
