Olympic Visitors Bureau seats board

The Olympic Peninsula Visitor Bureau seated its board of directors for 2010.

New officers are Peggy Frehner, Inn at Rooster Hill Bed and Breakfast, Port Angeles, president; Ed Murphy, Manitou Lodge, Forks, vice president; Dr. Dale Holiday, Holiday Consulting, Port Angeles, secretary; and Becky Rice, Log Cabin Resort, treasurer.

At-large members include Murphy; Sara Ellen Case, Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society associate, Sequim; Holiday; and Tammi Hinkle, Adventures Through Kayaking, Port Angeles.

Board members live in or do business in the unincorporated areas of Clallam County, outside of the city limits of Forks, Sequim or Port Angeles.

"We are excited about the perspectives and expertise these new board members bring to the organization," said Diane Schostak, executive director of the bureau.

The board meets monthly in the Port Angeles area and advises staff on policies, programs and promotions.

The bureau promotes tourism in the unincorporated areas of Clallam County.
