From left, Rachael, Emily, 2, Chris, and Hannah Wood, 8 months, enjoy a book donated through the Books for Kids program. First Step Family Support Center, a local United Way agency, collected 110 books to distribute to families it serves during home visits. The League of Women Voters and Clallam County Literacy Council sponsored the program. Pacific Mist Books in Sequim, and Port Book & News and Odyssey Bookshop in Port Angeles assisted in the campaign to provide books to young children. Call 457-8355 for more information.
