Kids’ Bingo at 7 Cedars Casino brought a near capacity crowd on Saturday, Feb. 20.

Despite obstacles of a Sequim power outage and other school and sporting events, the fundraiser brought in 369 people and $3,350 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.

Stacy Ceder, resource development director for the organization said it was very successful and even though they haven’t discussed it yet, club officials hope to partner with the casino more in the future and do it again in 2011.

Most participants were not affiliated with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Sequim and Port Angeles as only about 20 children raised their hands when asked if they were members.

Prizes ranged from MP3 players, Nintendo Wii, gift cards, a bicycle and more.

The Boys & Girls Clubs can be reached in Sequim at 683-8095.
