Heralding a new school year

Bill Jevne, co-owner and principal at Five Acre School walks with parent Ken Feightner (left) as he leads the students through the doors of the school on Sept. 8, the school’s first day. The school typically has used a gong during the opening day ceremonies but decided to mix it up a bit when they learned that Feightner, one of the new parents associated with the school, is versed in bagpiping.
