Walmart opening

The new Walmart in Port Angeles hosts a grand opening celebration, beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 27.

The store is located across road from the Walmart located at 3500 Highway 101.

Chair massage offered

Local licensed massage practitioners offer free 15-minute chair massage sessions from 11 a.m.-

2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.

Massage recipients remain fully dressed for treatment of the head, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and back.

The event celebrates American Massage Therapy Association's National Massage Therapy Awareness Week.

Licensed massage practitioners who want to participate in this event do not need to be members of the association but do need proof of liability insurance.
