Artisans Creative Consignment is opening Tuesday, Nov. 2, in Carlsborg.
Owner Michele Scott plans to donate 5 percent of proceeds to provide dental care for children.
The shop at 803 Carlsborg Road, Suite D, is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday for consignment of art, clothing and household goods. Heather Coleman is the new business' manager.

Raw pet food demonstration
Dana Singleton, regional vice president of Primal Pet Foods, presents a free seminar titled "Raw Food for Cats and Their Dog Friends, Too!" from 10 a.m.-noon Saturday, Oct. 30, at Best Friend Nutrition, 680 W. Washington St., Suite B102, Sequim.
Singleton discusses why raw food formulas are the best diet for pets, how raw food diets compare to dry foods, various available diet options and how to transition pets, especially cats, to a raw food diet.
