Community ready to serve holiday feasts

The following businesses and organizations are serving Thanksgiving dinners:

Sequim
• Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4760, 169 E. Washington St., Sequim, hosts a free Thanksgiving feast for veterans and their families 1-4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25. Call 683-9546 for reservations.

• Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave. Free traditional Thanksgiving Dinner for monthly community dinner. 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25. Call 683-5367 between 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, to make reservations. 

• Sunshine Cafe, 145 W. Washington St., Sequim. Noon-4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25. Free but reservations recommended. 683-4284

Blyn

11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 25. 
Thanksgiving Day buffet: soups, carved prime rib, roast turkey, baked ham, southern peach chicken, grilled oysters florentine, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, candied yams, sauteed mushrooms and snap peas, parmesan green beans with kale, rolls and biscuits, salad bar, dessert bar. Adults, $17, seniors $15, children ages 6-12, $12, children under 5, free.

Port Angeles

Wednesday Nov. 24
• Salvation Army, downstairs at Second and Peabody streets. Noon. Free. 452-7679.

Thursday Nov. 25

• Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 209 W. 11th St., 1-3 p.m. Free. 452-3952 or 477-1252.

• Seasons Café, Olympic Memorial Hospital, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles. Traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., 4:30-7 p.m. $10 per person. 417-7000.

Friday, Nov. 26
First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles, friendship dinner at 5:30 p.m. Call 452-8971.
