Humane Society closes Aug 1-8

The Olympic Peninsula Humane Society will close its animal adoption areas Aug. 1-8 for a staff in-service.

Staff will clean, paint and repair the 56-year-old society's building.

The shelter will continue to take in animals, return phone calls and allow adoption of animals to those interested in kittens or a specific dog or cat.

During the closure, those wanting to adopt an animal should call 457-8206 to schedule a meeting.
