P.C. language classes are coming to Sequim

When Peninsula College ABE/GED/Transition Education and ESL classes start in Sequim this fall, they will be offered in a new location at the corner of Sequim Avenue and Spruce Street. The front door to the new center opens right onto Sequim Avenue.

The new site offers the same services as before, allowing individuals to get immediate help in brushing up on reading, writing and math skills; learn English as a Second Language; or prepare for the GED (General Educational Development) Test.

The classes and hours in the new center are:
• ABE/GED/Transition Education: 8 a.m.-noon. The instructors are Norma Herbold and Michele Cayot.

• ESL Afternoon: 1-3:30 p.m. Mark Berneking and Judith Palumbo-Gates are the instructors. Child care will be available for students onsite.

• ESL Evening: 5:30-8 p.m. Terri Chapman and Jennifer Gaetan are the instructors. Child care will be available for students onsite.

Classes are all open-entry, which means students can start their studies at any time during the quarter and fit classes around their own schedule.
