Driver injured after crashing into home

One person was injured after the car she was driving crashed into a house today, Dec. 6, on North Kendall Road.

Personnel from Clallam County Fire District 3 found a vehicle had left the roadway and travel several hundred yards before it came to a stop after damaging a shrub and causing minor damage to a home.

The 78-year-old female driver may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the accident, fire district officials said.

Crews extricated her from the vehicle and transported her to Olympic Medical Center for treatment.
