County seeks rep for Disability Board

The term of appointment for a public at-large position on the Clallam County Disability Board expires July 31.
The Disability Board is now accepting applications for the public at-large representative position, a two-year term. The representative must reside within Clallam County.
Board meetings are held quarterly at 9 a.m. in the Clallam County Courthouse, on the third Tuesday of every quarter (January, April, July and October).
State law establishes disability boards. Board member duties include reviewing of medical claims and requests for disability leave and retirement by LEOFF 1 members (law enforcement officers and firefighters who entered service before Oct. 1, 1977).
Interested parties may pick up an application at the Clallam County Human Resources Department in the basement of the Clallam County Courthouse at 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles.
Applications should be submitted to the Human Resources Office by 4:30 p.m. June 20.
