Free parks day set

Washington State Parks is offering free admittance to visitors June 8-9 in celebration of National Get Outdoors Day (June 8).
On “free days,” visitors are not required to display a Discover Pass for daytime visits to Washington state parks.
Other free days include Aug. 4 (peak season free day), Sept. 28 (National Public Lands Day) and Nov. 9-11 (Veterans Day weekend).
