Preliminary Primary Election results 2013



In Sequim's two races, Colleen McAleer and James Barnfather, incumbent, are leading their respective races.

McAleer has 3,498 votes at 59.8% in the Clallam County Commissioners District No. 1 race.

She leads opponents Del DelaBarre with 1,449 votes, 24.8%, and Incumbent Paul McHugh, 906 votes, 15.5%.

Incumbent James Barnfather has 3,950 votes, at 62% in the Clallam County Fire District 3 Commissioner No. 3 race.  

He leads Sean Ryan who has 1,374 votes with 21.6%, and Charles Perdomo with 1,043 votes, 16.4%.

The top two candidates move on to the Tuesday, Nov. 5, general election.

 

At this point, only 25.3% of voters turned out for the election with an estimated 11,393 ballots turned in of 41,106 registered voters in Clallam County.
Ballots will be counted next on Friday, Aug. 9, and the election will be certified on August 20.
