Fire District 3, Clallam County Sheriff's Office and Clallam County Public Utility District (PUD) personnel respond to a fire near the 1200 block of Woodcock Road.

The driver of a blue dump truck and trailer reportedly struck a nearby power line and set off the fire, then left the scene. Law enforcement officials are seeking that driver.

As of 12:45 p.m., PUD personnel were at work depowering the lines while Fire District 3 firefighters worked to quell the small wildfire.

PUD officials estimate power will be restored for 85 homes in the area tentatively by 4 p.m.
