Young aviators sought

Youths interested in aviation have a chance to see their dreams take flight — literally — at a Young Eagle Rally from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Sequim Valley Airport, 468 Dorothy Hunt Lane.

Free airplane rides are offered to aviation enthusiasts ages 8-17 with permission from a parent or guardian.

The event is sponsored by Chapter 430 of the Experimental Aircraft Association.

Before each 20-minute Eagle Flight, participants will be introduced to aeronautical charts and shown how to perform an inspection of the aircraft. Call 681-4441.
